Late fees will be charged for all registrations received after 12/31/2009.

Age Eligibility
Little Laxers 2nd grade.
This is an instructional program that meets twice a week starting in March.
Players learn fundamental skills in a fun environment. Games and playdays will be scheduled with other local programs in a playday atmosphere.
HGLC Philadelphia Area Girls Lacrosse Association (PAGLA) teams for 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8.
3rd – 4rth Grade
This is an instructional program building on the previous year or introducing newcomers to the game. Practice is held twice a week starting in March. Games are played on Saturdays. This age group participates in tournaments. Games use the 7 v 7 format with goalkeepers or shooting nets and encourage three passes before shooting. There is no checking at this level.
Players work on developing their cradles, passing, catching, and groundball pickups.
Stronger defensive and offensive positioning is also encouraged at this level.
5th - 6th Grade
This program has teams according to skill of the players. Practices are two nights a week starting in March. Games are typically on Saturdays with a few weeknight games from April to the first week in June. The players’ move to a full field of 12 v 12 and the Modified Check (checking below the shoulder) is introduced. Skills are fine-tuned and strategies are introduced. This age group participates in tournaments. Off-season opportunities are also available. Check the web site for more details.
7th - 8th Grade
This program has teams according to skill of the players. Practices are two nights a week starting in March. Games are mostly Saturdays with a few weeknight games from April to the first week in June.
Players on both club and middle school teams have a demanding schedule but the opportunities and instruction gained provides these players with valuable learning experiences. Strategies and positional jobs are taught. This group participates in tournaments. Off-season opportunities are also available. Check the web site for more details.
Lacrosse is a game of repetition.
Coaches are committed to providing players with organized practices and count on a full roster for games. Player attendance is strongly recommended for the benefit of player and team improvement.
Refund Policy
HGLC is a non-profit organization and as such, 100% of our registration fees are used to support HGLC. Due to the nature of our program, equipment and services need to be acquired prior to the start of the season, therefore HGLC has an established set refund policy below:
- Registration includes tournament fees for Abington Play Day (5/8/10) , PAGLA Play Day (6/5/10).
If your daughter is unable to be at the tournaments there will be no refund.

Cancellation prior to Dec 31st: $50 of your original fees will not be refunded. $25 for USL and $25 for administrative

After Dec 31st: There will be no refunds for cancellation.

Little Laxers are not included in the above listed tournaments. Separate playdays will be scheduled at the start of the season.
